Does EMS training hurt? What your first session really feels like

Nearly every person who walks into the studio asks the same thing, usually while pretending they are not worried about it: does it hurt?
No. But it does feel like nothing you have felt before, so let me describe it properly.
The first thirty seconds
We start each muscle group low. The first thing you notice is a tingling, like pins and needles without the numbness. I turn it up a little, and the tingling becomes a tightening. It feels as if someone has a firm grip on the muscle and is squeezing it for you. That is the muscle contracting, which is exactly what we want.
You tell me when it is strong but comfortable, and we stop there. You are in charge of the intensity at every moment, on every muscle group. I have never once had to talk someone through pain, because we never go there.
The rhythm
The impulse is not on all the time. It runs for a few seconds while you hold a squat or a lunge, then rests for four seconds while you reset. Work, rest, work, rest, for twenty minutes. By the second or third round most people have forgotten about the sensation and are simply concentrating on the exercise, which is hard work in the ordinary way.
Afterwards
You will feel it two days later, not one. That deep, satisfying ache in muscles you did not know you had is the sign it worked. I felt it after my own first session eleven years ago, and it is the reason I am still doing this.
Your first session is free, and it is only 12 minutes. Book it on WhatsApp or call 086 810 6213.
